  • Delighted we chose Ethos for our trek around Sapa. We did a two day trek with overnight stay at the home of our guide Pang. An amazing and eye opening experience that taught us a lot about the area, the daily lives of the people living in the mountains, and quite honestly a lot about life itself. Sounds a bit dramatic, I know, but the experience is just that profound. It's unforgettable. And that's coming from someone who hiked mostly in a dense fog. If you are looking for a genuine experience without the common tourist circus, friendly and knowledgeable guides, and a company that can give you some perspective on the situation there, Ethos is for you.
  • A wonderful organization doing great work with the local tribes. Hoa and Phil are leading the charge in promoting sustainable tourism; they clearly have a positive impact on the local communities they work with. As an organization, they were flexible, quick to respond to questions, and incredibly welcoming and supportive once we arrived in Sapa.
