Charvak Reservoir, Yusufhona

#1 of 25 in Parks in Uzbekistan
Must see · Water Body · Nature / Park
An artificial lake nestled in the foothills of the Tian Shan mountain range, Charvak Reservoir offers a range of activites, from hikes and picnics to more adventurous options. The reservoir resulted from the 1970 damming on the Chirchiq River. Today, it remains a popular hangout spot and weekend getaway for locals, with guesthouses and campsites along the scenic shore, a couple of sandy beaches, and a picturesque view of snow-capped peaks in the background. Have a barbecue along the water, explore the numerous surrounding hiking trails, or try your hand at boating, paragliding, or a number of other recreational activities. The lake's clear, placid waters are usually very chilly, but if you want, you can go for a swim. Put Charvak Reservoir and other Yusufhona attractions into our Yusufhona trip planning tool, and watch your holiday take shape.
