  • We definitely enjoyed our visit to the prison. It was clean, informative, and a really neat piece of Yuma history. There's a little museum there along with the actual cells that you can go and visit. The Dark Cell is incredible. It's amazing how dark it is in there even with the door open! The gift shop is cute and has Yuma merchandise available. We have 2 small children and even they seemed to enjoy their time there. The museum is catered towards adults so they didn't want to spend a lot of time in there but there were plenty of places for them to explore around the park.
  • Great museum with a lot of history and you can walk around and look at everything. Great for my 7 year old!! Or anyone else that doesn't like just looking at pictures on walls. Go into old jail cells, hang out in the "quad", take a shot at getting a coin into the bed pan in one of the cells. Beautiful scenery, great people and awesome history!! Thank you!
