  • We stopped for a few minutes to stretch our legs and check out the mud spring. Nothing spectacular however another cool different geological feature in the park. Plenty of parking and a short easy...  more »
  • The parking for this is off the Grand Loop road. Many sights can be seen from the initial point (Mud Volcano, Dragon’s mount, Churning cauldron, Grizzly fumarol, etc). There are boardwalks and stairs....  more »
  • This is one of my absolute favorite spots in the whole park. The small hike is one of the most fun for chances at seeing wild life as well as observing some beautiful and interesting thermal features. Make sure to take the time to admire the views on the boardwalk hike around the bluff.
  • Enjoyed this location. The Mud Volcano was very active and boiling. It was a little crowded and the parking lot pretty full but a little bit of patience paid off.
