A heaven for Lego lovers, Legoland Florida Resort features over 50 interactive rides, shows, and attractions, all designed with small children in mind. Opened in 2011, the park encompasses 60 hectares (145 acres), making it the second largest Lego-themed park in the world. Kid-friendly attractions include roller coasters with indoor dark ride portions, wave pools, waterslides, multi-level tree and rope climbs, medieval-themed jousts with Lego horses, and outdoor games where visitors build and test their own Lego cars. You can also take a rotating platform ride, providing 360-degree views of the entire park, or join a guided factory tour for a firsthand look at the creative process behind the popular Lego brick sets. It is the worst now. Running under FEAR of covid, cash is not accepted which should be illegal as cash is legal tender. Bought season passes and will be canceling today. Will never support this... more »
Took 8 yr old and 14 yr old to Legoland on a Thurs. 10-22-20. Park was very nice and lots of rides that both kids enjoyed. They walked right on to every ride and stayed on some of the rides for 3-4... more »
Very interesting and unique park. I was always interested in coming here as a kid and on my vacation here, I had to stop in for a day and take it all in. Well worth it. The crowds were small and quiet today and there's lot to see here, my favorite part is the area with iconic landmarks built with nothing but LEGO bricks, you'll be stunned and must see this area. Of course, the water park was great, too. The pool water was warm, which wasn't very helpful since the weather was warm as well, but at least in the kids area the water was cooler. The wave pool was a cool experience as well and it's a nice touch that there's LEGO bricks in the pool for you to stack together and build something, but there was also building outside the pool on the sand. I'd say I enjoyed this park more than I've enjoyed amusement parks in a long while. This was a great treat, and I hope to be back sometime.
This was our first visit to Legoland. It was so much fun. We stayed at the resort and it was worth it. Everything was focused on the kids, there were so many things to do even when we were stuck inside due to rain. The staff was so kind and helpful. Always knew some little tip to make our stay more fun. Highly recommend!
