Weston Bend State Park, Weston

I stopped here while visiting our family in St. Joseph's. as with any visit to the in laws sometimes a little escape can do wonders to both you and them, and this was it for me. I drove down and took a hike out the Missouri River over look and took another short hike. All was very enjoyable. I also checked out the campground which looked like a great place to stay and the restroom were very clean. For an overnight or day trip I would recommend.

Quiet, beautiful park. Amazing views. Camp sites all look very nice, there is a fenced dog park. The bath/shower facilities were very nice. There are at least 3 trails, one being paved to include bike riders. All round a great place to go!
