Disabled for life...the sacrifice that many gave for our country to keep us free. Respect and gratitude are the minimum we can and should give back. This is a memorial that is thought provoking in its many messages, is a sad reminder of the price many have paid and beautiful in its design. I noticed our friends reflection in the water so I took a picture of them. They love the picture and I am proud of it even though it was captured at such a solemn place.
This memorial is very important. It really reminds you how much these people deal with to perfect our freedom. These are the "lucky" ones that get to come home, but they are far from being whole.
