Dupont Circle FreshFarm Market, Washington DC

4.6
FRESHFARM is a non-profit that promotes sustainable agriculture and improves food access and equity in the Mid-Atlantic Region. We do this by operating producer-only farmers markets that provide vital economic opportunities to local farmers and food producers and through innovative philanthropic outreach programs that educate the public about food and related environmental issues.

We are the largest network of farmers markets in the Chesapeake region. Our markets represent more than 150 farmers from 5 states, more than 9,000 acres of land being actively farmed, and more than 360,000 demographically diverse shoppers annually, making FRESHFARM the leading voice for farmers markets in our area and a national leader in the local food movement.

For a full schedule of our markets, visit http://freshfarm.org/farmers-markets.html

  • WHAT a selection! There's so many fresh fruits, veggies, meats, prepared foods, frozen specialty foods, cheeses, pickled things, flowers, soaps, and probably so many more things! My husband picked up Hen of the Woods mushrooms and I ate every piece on my plate. I don't even normally ENJOY mushrooms on their own. Great, wide selection and easy to plan meals here for the week. Even popping in for the experience is recommended.
  • Wow..Its so much to see and sample!! Go early! Breads, pastries, pasta, cheese, fruits & veggies!! And Alcohol!! And who can pass up pizza in a oven(sorry forgot a pic)..very good way to spend a Sunday!
