  • Often visited this institution in the past to enjoy the taste of beer from the different corners of our planet. But my last visit was very disappointing. Very slow service, table tables, inattentive attitude to the coients.

  • The hotel itself has a good outside appearance, and one, the tavern that they said also good, but in the matter of Hotel, inn, hostel, or whatever if of name to this type of dorm, leaves to be desired. It was me and my family, on April 02, and we stayed (thanks to God), for only one night, and the experience was not good, from the arrival, that as we stayed on the third floor, there was no elevator and you take 2 suitcases, not 4 suitcases because the wife also , or take this 4 suitcases of 32kg each for 3 floors and inhumane, and no one helps. The room was clean, and everything is working, just a lot of noise in the bathroom exhaust that leaves the light on no one sleeps. The receptionist tried to trick us into duplicity the Dictaria, because he asked for the credit card, and we had already given the value of the daily in specie, and Quan of the asked she said it was only to be collateral, and oppose our luck a Brazilian who was close listened and if Directed her with authority that she had no way of discounting the daily again in the card of credit, for we had already paid, and she with the cleanest face, made the value, or is dishonest. The hotel below, Dexia to desire, dirty, smelling of mildew, tight, ie do not wish anyone to go in this hotel, and beware of the reception not charge in duplicity the Dictaria

  • Friends had spoken highly of the place, and they seemingly have a good choice of beers, except that I had to pick through about 3 before I found one they actually had available. Service wasn't bad, but there was no A/C downstairs. The place itself wasn't that clean, nor were the glasses. I wouldn't avoid the place, but I won't recommend it when friends are in town either. RFD (same ownership) is far nicer, cheaper (or maybe the same) and though it doesn't have as charming of at atmosphere, I'd pick it over Brickskeller
  • The Brickskeller has a legendary reputation for having the widest beer selection in the entire DC area. The truth, however, is they are constantly out of the majority of beers they show on the menu. Worse, the staff never know what's in stock so be prepared to have about a half dozen "back up" beers if you are actually trying to take advantage of the selection supposedly offered here. If they just printed a weekly menu that would kick them up 2 whole stars in my book. As it stands, the whole affair is too much of a crapshoot to be worth bothering.
