From the U.S. Air Force's first jet fighter to history's fastest plane, see the development of flight on a grand scale at Museum of Aviation. One of the largest of its kind in the United States, the museum displays a sizeable collection of civilian and military aircrafts and pays homage to the heroes and pioneers of aviation. Visit the museum for the chance to see both famous and very rare airplanes and helicopters, such as the Epps 1912 Monoplane, the iconic Huey, or the F-80C Shooting Star. Don't miss the SR-71A Blackbird, the very plane that set the world speed record back in 1976. The museum also features a cafe and gift shop, and admission is free. A visit to Museum of Aviation represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Warner Robins trip itinerary builder website to plot your vacation.

  • Very knowledgeable and friendly staff :) The property is huge and has much to look at and take in. Great place for people of all ages. There is a cute little gift shop, however there is not a place to eat. There's a ton of great little local restaurants in the area so this did not pose a problem.
  • I remember going here as a little boy. Since then I've always wanted to work on planes. At 18 I joined the Air Force and made that dream come true. 7 years later, I get to take my kids to the same place that changed my life in the sense of my love for aeronautics. Love this place and it will always have a place in my heart.
