For a memorial that's supposed to be for one of the most influential fighter squadrons of all time this memorial was very poor a single plaque and a couple of signs doesn't do these brave men justice! After all they still to this day hold the best record for bomber escorting having never lost a single bomber they were assigned to protect they deserve better!
A significant contribution to the success of victory. Another very important part of American history that refused to remain invisible. The feared red tails. A cast of American war heros that were well respected by the German air force.
