  • This is a beautiful and, as it turned out, an exciting hike. We were hiking and taking plenty of photos on the well-maintained trail. On the way back, we spotted three buffalo on the trail. The...  more »
  • Easy trail to the prairie dog town. Ran face to face with a huge bison bull which can be dangerous if you don't know how to react. Be careful and very of your surroundings.
  • Gorgeous trail. Definitely worth doing. It is very isolated due to lack of hikers there and gives you a great opportunity to experience real nature. There are a lot of beautiful butterflies and flowers along the trail. Took 4 hours including breaks to admire, drink/eat and take pictures. Otherwise, could be done in 3 hours. If you start going from the nature trail, it starts out marked very well, but towards the end it can be difficult to find the trail path at certain points.
