  • Close to Mofitt cancer center. I needed to wait while my MIL was in visiting, so I found this park/trail and enjoyed my wait.  more »

  • My co-workers and I had a team building lunch at the park and we had one of the best times out of the office. The shelters provide plenty of shade and the barbecue grills available let us have some great burgers and hot dogs. A group of us also took a long walk along the waterfront, which was beautiful and very peaceful. We saw several kinds of birds and kept an eye out for alligators (although we didn't see any on this trip).
  • It's a good park adjacent to urban areas! There is background noise from the interstate and the heavily traveled Fletcher Rd. But, the park offers a great and safe space with walking and riding trails and a great board walk. If you like to canoe, you can bring your own or rent one! This park allows for you to get a glimpse of a true preservation area that protects natural habitats and provides a wonderful place for the family!
