  • I arrived in Southhaven early and was able to find a parking place right downtown. And I walk to the lighthouse which was about a mile round trip. Really nice Beach area. The lighthouse is at the end....  more »
  • We really enjoyed going to the beach area. We visited during the day but then returned in the evening to watch the gorgeous sunsets. The beach was clean and very easy to access.  more »
  • South Haven South Pierhead Light - lighthouse situated on the entrance of Black River on Lake Michigan, South Haven, Michigan. One of my personal favorite places visited. The still operational lighthouse was first lit in 1872. In 1903, the wooden tower was renovated and replaced. Watching the sunset from the lighthouse was awesome.
  • Lighthouse and pier are pretty. Rv'rs beware- there is no RV parking anywhere near the lighthouse/beach or park. Downtown is narrow to drive through. You also can't take dogs down to the beach. The town is cute and the lighthouse/beach was pretty.
