  • A gorgeous setting and lovely walk. We didn’t, honestly, realize the historic figures we’d pass, so that was a pleasant surprise. We did expect to see names from Washington Irving’s story, and that....  more »

  • This was our second time touring the cemetery. Roe was an AMAZING tour personable and fun and real and educated. We would go back again just for her tour. Outside of the tour, the cemetery is rich with history and interest. If you are a cemetery guru, this will not be lost on you. If you don’t get around to too many cemeteries, schedule a tour. The proceeds all go to the upkeep of the history here.
  • The Murder and Mayhem Lantern Tour was Fantastic! it's 2 hours of walking among the graves accompanied by kerosene lantern light and an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. My Wife and I enjoyed the entire experience. We stopped at about 10-12 grave sites and our tour guide Laura gave us all the grim details of the residents below. Arrive Early to park and go on a full stomach, most of the walking is on gravel and grass so its a bit of adventure.
