  • Beautiful trail for easy biking, walking or running. It has an old railroad bed that has been converted into a rails to trails. There are many benches along the way to rest at. The benches and picnic areas all have wonderful settings. The trail can be considered flat with a few side trails that also connect to the main trail. Was there on a Sunday morning and it had little traffic.
  • Tough hike as we picked the hottest day out of the year to climb. It was quite windy at the top which was relaxing. The hike up was tiring and there was some shade about twenty minutes. After that was a rock scramble and the rock scramble was pretty intense but not too difficult. Being hot and sweaty definitely adds to the intensity, especially when the temperature was getting hotter near the 11AM mark. Views were pretty. Honestly I've been to Shanendoah National Park and other parks in the Northeast and Lehigh Gap has some really good views. Advice is to find a day when it isn't so hot and to also come here early to beat the crowds. We didn't have any as we were crazy enough to come here on a 90 degree day. Also bring sunscreen and bug repellent.
