  • Love it! Great for a day trip. I tend to go off the beaten paths and have a wonderful time. Swimming area gets too crowded for me. Good wildlife. Lots of snakes and birds. Plenty of clean bathroom facilities. The information center is awesome and they have displays for adults and children to learn about the nature around them. Buy from the gift shop to support the park!! PLEASE DON'T LITTER! Keep our parks beautiful
  • Great short hiking trails. Last visit we encountered a rat snake and it gave us quite a scare. The snake started crawling at break neck speed towards us. Saw it on the Spanish Moss Trail. Otherwise, Cliffs of the Neuse is a great clean state park. Enjoy!
