Space Needle, Seattle

4.2
Enjoy panoramic views of Seattle and the surrounding water from 184 m (605 ft) in the air at Space Needle. A symbol of the city since it was built for the World’s Fair in 1962, the tower features a 360º observation deck. Ride the elevator to the top for unobstructed views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Elliott Bay, and the surrounding islands, before stopping for a meal at the rotating SkyCity restaurant. Take a jacket with you when visiting the tower, as the observation deck is known for windy conditions. Plan your visit to Space Needle and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Seattle road trip tool .

  • It’s a bit pricey but the gardens were beautiful and the view from the space needle was pretty. Recommend the combo pack  more »
  • Had this venue included in the City Pass package. Great view of the city and downtown area but probably wouldn't do it a second time.  more »

  • When you visit New York it’s a must to go to the top of the Empire State Building. The same seems to apply to the Space Needle when visiting Seattle. When a tourist be a tourist and see the highlights of a city. The views are breathtaking and you get a great perspective of the city while up top. In addition, they have these new glass floor panels that can be waked on. It’s eerie and cool at the same time.
  • Excellent Seattle city view and also the Pacific view. The rotating glass experience was fantastic. Try to get on to it by daylight to get a chance for a selfie setup, as the the night view doesn’t help the cameras. Best part is it’s photographs clicked. Unlike every other tourist attraction click pictures and sell them/discard if you don’t need, this place gives your photos for free. Maybe included with the ticket.
