At 53 m (175 ft) tall, Seattle Great Wheel draws visitors to view the city. One ride takes you around the giant Ferris wheel three times, giving you ample opportunity to spot Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound in the distance, and to enjoy the sights below. Each gondola seats up to eight people, but each group receives a private gondola. One luxury gondola sports leather seats, a stereo system, and a glass floor for all-around views. Great, informative tour of Seattle's underground. Guide was filled with humor and facts. Easy walk, pretty good for all weather. Not cold underground as expected. Book in advance - it's super popular. Really fun thing to do!

Fairly short line on a Saturday afternoon. Line moved pretty quickly after you get your tickets. Enclosed cabins that are climate controlled. 3 revolutions non stop and 1 for loading and unloading. Nice views of downtown and the waterfront. Thought it might be more anxiety producing, but with enclosed cabins and slow speed, it was pretty tame.
