Walt Disney Family Museum presents the life, work, and legacy of Walt Disney, from his early childhood until today. In a 4,000 sq m (43,000 sq ft) space, using old and new technology, the family's collection showcases drawings, animations, movies, and music. In the lobby are 248 awards Disney earned, among which are the Presidential Medal of Freedom--the highest civilian award of the United States--and the Oscar for the movie "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves." See the 3.7 m (12 ft) in diameter model of Disneyland, and watch Disney classics in the "Fantasia"-inspired digital theater. Make sure you have some energy left for the Disneyland exhibit at the end. Walt Disney Family Museum Reviews

As an avid Disney Fan I truly enjoyed my visit to The Walt Disney Family Museum. The admission price of $25 and then an additional $10 fee for the Mickey Mouse Exhibit was a little pricey but well wor... more »

Very nice place, the guided tour on the phone lent by the museum is very well done, in French, which does not spoil anything. The machine to photograph, created by Walt is a treasure trove of ingenuity, we understand better the quality of these cartoons. the whole museum is to be seen, we really have for his money .... my only regret, is not having taken enough money to buy all the souvenirs offered in the shop end of visit, my son who made the whole parks, told me that it was really to see .... sincerely go there, that' is worth a visit.View original

As I am a huge fan of anything Disney, this was a perfect experience for any Disney fan alike. Getting to see a real history of Walt and his family on how he really came about was great. Also seeing real artifacts from not only what Walt had created, also things that were created in the Disney name. Such a perfect location with a small Cafe. Well worth the money we spent. Strongly recommend doing both exhibition and the museum. With taking my time this took roughly about 2.5 hours to complete and I didn't read or look at every little detail. Amazing work all around a great experience for family or some that are "just" Disney fans. ;)

This place is AMAZING. If you love Disney it's a must see. I would say it's not meant for kids, more adult oriented. They tell you it'll take about an hour and half to get through, I was there for three hours and probably could have spent more time. There is so much history, lots to read and fun stuff to interact with. It's a great journey through Walt's life and by the end I nearly cried...no joke. They also have a Cafe that serves coffee and food and some adorable Disney inspired pastries. Yum! Come spend the day, have lunch and check out the gift shop! If you're lucky the volunteer named Mark will be there, he's wonderful!!
