Major League Baseball's San Diego Padres call Petco Park home. The stadium is different from most because of its grassy, sloped area above the outfield fence, called Park at the Park. During games, fans can watch games from here for a low price. At other times, you can walk through this area and see the stadium for free. Note the Indian sandstone and stucco, white painted steel, and dark blue seats; this design intentionally represents the colors of San Diego, with its sandy beaches, white sails on boats, and blue ocean. Take a guided tour of the ballpark to see usually off-limits areas, such as the dugout and pressroom. The grandstands provide superb views of the city's skyline, bay, and Balboa Park. A visit to Petco Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our San Diego day trip planning app to plot your vacation.

Park was beautiful and located right in the heart of San Diego near Gas Lamp. They did a great job with flow of the game and fan interaction. Ballpark food was very good too. more »

Always a BEAUTIFUL park to go to. I only go when my Cardinals come into town. But the park is really nice and food options are really good. Love the Downtown atmosphere after the game. So many places to eat and grab a beer! You will have fun for sure.

Been to Petco park on several occasions now, I've sat directly behind 1st, we have sat behind home plate and we have sat up in the nosebleeds, by far one of my best experiences was up in the cheap seats , you get to experience the entire game without straining or having to stand up to see. Loved it, so if your hesitant about whether to spend $20 or $200 don't be its about the experience and you still get that with the $20 seats allows for more money for dogs brews and spending in the club shop.
