Witness reenactments of the Salem witch trials at Witch Dungeon Museum. The daily performances are based on historic manuscripts from the 1692 trials. The dramatic "possession" of Salem's young women led to the hanging of 19 people and two dogs. After watching the harrowing performance, you can tour the reconstructed dungeon below. You can save on the admission fee by purchasing a combination ticket that includes entry to three museums within walking distance of each other. • The re-enactment taught about the history of the trials. It was short and concise. The actors were enthusiastic and knowledgeable, keeping us intrigued. This was not on our list of things to do but...  more »
  • You get to see a reenactment and also see replicas of the original cells and space of the cells where people accused of witchcraft were being kept.  more »

  • For the options in Salem, this was my favorite historic museum. Our tour guide was well spoken, gave good information and this tour lent new information that other spots didn’t have. It ended a little abruptly but other than that we enjoyed ourselves.
  • The customer service I purchased 4 tickets. I was not allowed to use the employee restroom even though I told them (3 employees present) I was close to having an accident minutes before the show. They told me to use the visitor’s center’s restroom down the street. I couldn’t find it (not from here) so I just raced into a nearby restaurant’s restroom. I’m Mexican with dark skin which is most likely why I was not allowed to use their restroom. 0 out of 5 stars. Note: They do not take AMEX and they do not have a military discount. And no public restrooms. The show Lasts five minutes. The judge and jury are wax figures. Only two actors total: the accused and the accuser. 2 out of 5 stars. The dungeons: Not even close to the quality of a Ripley’s museum but it is effective. It is a reconstruction not the original location of the dungeon. 2 out of 5 stars. Overall: 1 out of 5 stars. Overpriced. Poor customer service. Spend your time and money elsewhere.
