Cathedral of Saint Paul, Saint Paul

With its Neoclassical architecture and copper and gold-leaf dome, Cathedral of Saint Paul is one the largest and most recognizable religious buildings in the United States. The cathedral features 24 stained-glass windows. On the inside, the life of Saint Paul is honored with a large, bronze baldachin. You can also see the statues of four evangelists. The cathedral celebrates migrations of people to Minnesota with its five chapels dedicated to the patron saints of the Irish, the Italians, the Germans, the Slavs, and the French-Canadians.
