Definitely a great place to enjoy with young children! My kiddos enjoy the walk/short hike around all the neat historical buildings. There are workers in character from that time period, and my toddler loves to interact with them! We go so often that we ended up getting a season pass. And if you go during the week, check out Ensos Bread shop right next to the visitors center for a fresh and tasty treat!! Or Italian sub :-).
Love the history, peacefulness, beautiful scenery. They keep the grounds up well and bathrooms clean. Great place to bring the whole family have a picnic and enjoy the outdoors while learning a little history along the way!
