Went once, and it was a Nice little walk to the beach. Beach was very dirty and smelly, lots of rocks. Maybe just a bad day, would try again
Lovely park for hiking to the north shore from a tiny, 8 space parking lot. The 15 minute stroll to the bluffs overlooking the Long Island sound is met with lush ferns, tall grasses and sandy inclines amid mature scrub pines and oaks. With some agility, you can walk down a path to the beach and walk along the sound with a clear view of Connecticut.
