Mayo Lake Park, Roxboro

My family and I enjoyed The Thomas Family Reunion. We met a lot of relatives that live close to VA. It was heartwarming to hear cousins speak of my mother, Rheba Thomas( daughter of Nannie and Glennie Thomas). It brought back many memories. Look forward to many more Reunions. #FamilyFirst

This is my favorite campground. It has everything: Cabins, RV sites, tent sites, very clean bathhouse, playgrounds, boat ramps, picnic shelters, swim areas, amphitheater, learning center, even a mini library!....and it's all in a natural setting. The rangers are the friendliest and most helpful I've ever encountered at a campground. Unlike most places, these people make you feel like they're happy you're there and they want you to come back. The campsites are big and roomy. They recently added more RV sites and I hear they are hoping to add another bathhouse near them.
