Crescent Park Looff Carousel, also known as Crescent Park Carousel or more officially as Crescent Park Looff Carousel and Shelter Building, is a National Historic Landmark in East Providence, Rhode Island.

The hand-carved carousel was built in 1895 by Charles I. D. Looff at his Brooklyn, New York factory and installed at Crescent Park Amusement Park in the Riverside section of East Providence, Rhode Island. The ride's fifty-foot platform contains sixty-one horses, one camel, two single coaches, and two double chariots. Fifty-six of the horses are jumpers. It is among the finest and least-altered of Looff's surviving carousels, serving as a showcase for his workmanship.

  • I love coming here. Old memories for me new ones for my kids. It's been fun watching my kids grow up and grab for the rings. There was a time I would grab them and hand them to them. As they got older sometimes they could reach them. Now they pull them at will. The challenge is gone until they have kids of their own. I guess they were having mechanical problems the last time I went because they were only letting 30 on at a time but it was worth the wait. We typically get chowder and clam cakes next door and go down to the shore across the street. Always a great day at the Carousel.
  • Such a sweet place, and I love that they've made it affordable for all. The staff are happy and helpful, and the adjacent park overlooking the water is beautiful and well maintained. Great spot to have a picnic and spend the afternoon running around.
