  • The store is classy on main street (Highway 61 )in Red Wing. Upon entering you are greeting by the world's largest shoe. The place smells like a leather store. Really nice shoe store.  more »
  • The world's largest boot is still there which is cool. They carry nice products at a high quality price to match. The "bargain area" in the basement is no longer much of a "bargain." I will skip this....  more »

  • The museum was interesting. Great selection of shoes and belts in store. Do not use Google maps. It will take you to the wrong place. There are 2 Main Streets. The right one is Hwy 61
  • First and foremost, the gigantic boot was quite cool along with the little museum setup upstairs. The main lobby is larger than most Red Wing shoe stores. The biggest surprise is downstairs where they sell factory seconds of current and discontinued models. As for my rating, it has to do with customer service or the lack of it. I was walking around the main floor for several good minutes on a slow Tuesday afternoon and I was not greeted once by the first or second sales associate. The first sale associate was helping a customer and as he got up to retrieve something, he literally walked past me and did not even give me a simple "Did someone already help you?" or "Someone will be right with you" or "How is it going?" In addition, there was another sale associate who walked behind me as I was looking at their boots to converse with another customer. As a flagship store, I find it very disappointing to say the least. Now, as for the two stars, it finally took three sales associates to acknowledge me. He was a younger individual and he was good, very polite and full of energy. Honestly, the first two gentlemen should learn a thing or two from him regarding customer service, maybe it might help the flagship store bring in more revenue. Also, the younger sales associate downstairs was a delight to talk with.
