  • Visited for a very short time, early morning. Plaza shops and church were closed, but still worth visiting. Cold and nicely covered in fresh snow. Loved it.  more »
  • We enjoyed our meal. More than I could finish. Pork with chili sauce was very satisfying. Tables were not named together, there were three rooms, so it was not real loud. It was a pleasant dinner.  more »

  • In 1776, while the British American Colonies were bound to war, the Spanish Franciscan Priest Francisco Atanasio Domínguez was a world away in Ranchos de Taos. Writing that "the settlement consists of scattered ranchos, and their owners are the citizens who live in the pueblo," he probably couldn't imagine how interlinked these worlds would soon become.
