Bowland, Port Charlotte

My kids and I took advantage of the free summer bowling this year for the first time, and we were more than happy. I was able to add my nephews to the free bowl when they came to stay for a month too. The bowling alley is under new management, and new renovations are underway. I’ve dealt with Rose every time we’ve come in to bowl and she’s beyond welcoming, always wearing a smile on her face. Let’s not forget the food! The hot wings and pizza alone are fantastic. I’m glad to call Bowland our go-to spot for bowling and fun.

Bowland is under new management? Not impressed with the new owners yet, I signed up for the kids bowl free and than purchased an extra program so the entire family could bowl all summer for one price. In July they put out flyers saying they were changing the times the kids bowl free customers could bowl, much less availability. Once over the summer I came in to use the kids bowl free program and received an attitude from an employee. I understand the new owner may not like the program but it was in effect before ownership changed. They should be honoring it with a smile on their face. They also changed the food they served and it is not as good. I got fries and they are shoe string fries now, old ones were much better. The patty in my hamburger was literally falling apart while I was eating it. Sorry to say I don’t think this is going to be a positive change in ownership
