  • Amazing monument! I hope to visit someday soon after watching about this particular monument on the Kirk Cameron documentary Monumental. I pray this monument will stand as a testament to the faith and reliance on God these men and women had on their long hard journey just to arrive in this new land, for religious freedom, not to mention their hardwork once they arrived to set up a form of a self governing society all while relying on Gods faithfulness even in such dark and grim times. Man oh man have we strayed far as a country from what these original founders envisioned and setup. I love America! She is the greatest and most free country ever, but we are headed in the wrong direction morally as a country and NO politician can fix our problems. We cannot put our trust in any man or woman. As the Pilgrims understood, God is our only hope, that was true then and it's true now. BTW thank you to everyone that posted pictures here, I may never make it there (because of health issues), but the posted photos have been a great help to me. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! God bless!
  • Very very cool. Worth checking out. The visitor center says it’s not walkable from town but it definitely is. It’s just not right downtown with everything else.
