  • This is a great park just to walk around. They have ball fields that look very well maintained but there is a walking path that goes around them that is very nice for an evening stroll.  more »
  • Went here to give our dogs a place to walk while staying at a cabin up in the mountains. Very nice paved walk. Plenty of space to socially distance in this new era. Currently the fields and...  more »

  • Very clean and in good condition. Lots of unique features on the playground. I especially appreciate that it's shaded so that my children can enjoy the equipment without getting burned. Note that only one of the two play areas is shaded, and that the area designed for children younger than five years old is NOT the shaded one. Still, my almost-three year old was able to enjoy the slide, seesaw, and other shaded equipment just fine. I imagine the very young children ages 0 to 2 might get bored in the shaded area after thirty minutes, but there are things for them to do there such as a couple of plastic musical instruments and a small dome "igloo." The climbing equipment is large and strong enough for adults to enjoy too if you are in the mood. Bonus: the shaded area is mostly fenced and has a soft, padded, bug-free turf. I would take my kids back for sure!
  • Nice playgrounds for the kids, to give the wallet a slight break from the wealth of paid attractions on the Pigeon Forge strip, worth at least an hour - more if you take a picnic lunch. The shelters (one at each end of the area we visited) provide good shade, with plenty of picnic tables. The awnings covering one of the playgrounds provided great shade, though the second playground at the opposite side of the field was uncovered, and so the equipment was too hot to the touch on this July mid-morning. The playground surfaces were that squishy asphalt material, with the surface of the awning-covered playground additionally covered with artificial turf, which was a nice touch. There was a set of basketball courts between the two playgrounds, and a football field next to the non-shaded playground. Bathrooms are available a short walk from the shaded playground.
