The Go Fish Education Center is part of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division (Fisheries Management Section).

Developed as part of the Go Fish Georgia Initiative, this center is core to promoting and increasing participation of fishing in Georgia.

The Go Fish Education Center takes visitors on an educational journey through Georgia’s watersheds to learn about our diverse aquatic wildlife, their natural habitats and the impacts of water pollution. Beyond that, the Center serves as a great resource of fishing information for any level of angler – where to go, what to use and when.

Go Fish Education Center has been an awesome source of entertainment and education and stayed open to the public during the height of the Coronavirus. The only thing not available were the simulators.... more »

One of my favorite places. But they have turned off all interactive activities in the museum. They have also turned off all educational screens. You can still fish and you can still walk thru live... more »

This place was amazing! They had many kid friendly activities. There was also many educational areas to learn about Georgia aquatic wildlife. They had a saltwater and freshwater fishing simulator, a brim fishing pond (with free rod and bait you can use), shooting simulators, and many other things. The staff was friendly and informative and everything was clean and working great. It was definitely worth the money ($5 for kids 3-12 $7 for older plus a senior discount for anyone 65 and older).

We came on a field trip and everyone had fun. The fishing was well stocked and the exhibits were interesting.
