  • The Good, The Bad, The Ugly First the Good – it is a beautiful park – we went for the azaleas & they did not disappoint. I can only imagine how beautiful it is when the rhododendrons are in bloom...  more »
  • Nice state property but just missed the Rhododendron/Azalea blooms. There are a variety of hikes to mix and match; nothing difficult. Scenic views of the pond and an old sawmill is the focal point.....  more »

  • Although you would have to walk some distance but when you do walk through it, you won't regret it. I love the beautiful gazebo that overlooks the beautiful pond on one side and a small waterfall underneath on the other side. The park provides chairs to sit and enjoy the beautiful view. If your lucky, you may even get a chance to see a water lily. 😍😍😍 I'm an event planner, I always imagine decorating that gazebo for a beautiful engagement proposal or a mini wedding ceremony. This place is definitely not for kids though, they're no playground, so definitely not a kids place. I would recommend this place for for couples. Like I said before, rather you are looking for a place to propose or a small wedding ceremony or even looking for a place to take beautiful photos, this is definitely the place. Its bigger than what I'm describing it to be so don't think it's not worth checking out. They also have trail walks. 😍😍😍 Love this place. Oh you may want to put on some bug repellent lotion or spray, the park is full of bugs especially those annoying yet dangerous mosquitoes.
  • Decided to take a day off from work and do some easy hiking not too far from home. Found this place online and decided to check it out--the waterfall and the mill looked pretty cool. Drove here on a beautiful summers day (weekday) and really had a relaxing day just exploring the park. Unfortunately the waterfall wasn't "falling" haha it was almost dried up but it was still pretty nice to explore around the Mill. I walked all the trails on the provided trail map and thoroughly enjoyed the park.
