A nice place for the visitors to rest and dine after the drive. Picturesque surroundings. Adequate parking. The restaurant has adequate variety of items. The Gift shop displays a variety of souvenirs. More importantly, the center also has exhibits and films that give information about Mount Rainier, biodiversity and protection of environment.

Mt. Ranier National Park is beautiful and the Henry M Jackson visitor center is well structured to make your visit to the park successful and enjoyable. It has a great gift/book store, wonderful museum and a cafe. We didn't eat there, as we preferred to enjoy our picnic in the snow. During summer, access to this visitor center is limited by increased numbers of visitors. Go early, or be prepared to walk about a mile to get to it.
