Simply beautiful garden for only $8 per car. No need to go to over pricey and crowded botanical gardens in NYC anymore. It is easily accessible by long island expressway. It is extremely peaceful inside planting fields Arboretum. You won't find constantly staff walking behind you. You will have freedom to enjoy everything in respectful fashion. No picnic allowed and please keep gardens clean. I would definitely go to planting fields again. This place is awesome for wedding pictures.
Very nice. The grounds are very well kept. Must be even better during the season when more plants are blooming. Signage could be better to indicate which way to the different gardens and buildings. Loved it. Would go back.
