Embark on a guided or self-guided tour of Battleship Wisconsin at Nauticus, one of the largest battleships the U.S. Navy has ever constructed. The giant, decommissioned battleship, known as "Wisky," was launched Dec. 7, 1943, and served in World War II and the Korean War. Take a tour of the deck, which runs just over 270 m (887 ft). Then choose from two guided tours of the interior of the ship: The Topside Tour provides a look at the administration area, radio room, captain's cabin, and combat engagement center. The Main Street USN Tour gives you a glimpse into the life of a common sailor aboard the ship, where you'll see the ship's laundry, bakery, doughnut shop, and galley. • Spent 3 hours here and enjoyed every minute. Best to go early with less crowds. Children may find it more difficult to get around though because high ladder steps inside. I spent time also in the museum too which is very nice too. Military and Vets get good discount to about 12.95 but just for the person.
  • We spent 4 hours on a self tour, loved every minute. So much to see and read. Great detail to cover even the littlest things. The building was amazing with artifacts and explanations. Volunteers were really friendly and sharing of details to help enrich your experience. Beautiful location, easy to get to and park.
