Admire the wild cascades and raging whitewater from Niagara Falls Observation Tower. Extending out over the gorge, the observation deck offers panoramic views of American and Horseshoe Falls at the same time. Take the elevator to reach the base of the gorge and the boarding site for boat tours. From there, you can climb flights of stairs to the Crow's Nest and feel the gusts of misty Niagara spray. Bird enthusiasts are drawn to the tower by good chances to spot peregrine falcons and bald eagles. On a clear, sunny morning, you can snap a picture-postcard photo of a rainbow over the American Falls. Niagara Falls Observation Tower Reviews
As someone who is not a fan of heights or bridges/things over water, I still decided to go and look. I am so glad that I did! What an amazing view - the best one from the US side. more »
On the US side of the falls one can get quite close to them. There's a nice park and walk way around the area and the observation deck gives great views up to the falls and also down the Niagara River more »
The Niagara Falls Observation Tower is a MUST! It is included when you purchase a Maid of the Mist boat tour, and I recommend going on the observation deck before going on the boat. The view is amazing! You can see American Flags, Horseshoe Falls, the Rainbow Bridge, Canada and the United States. It does get crowded, so finding a spit on the rail might be difficult, but one will free up with time. Take a lot of great pictures here during the day and at night! They have a light show that starts at 9pm! Overall, this is a MUST see and worth every second!
When you visit the park you have to see the view from the observation tower. During the day you can go up to the tower when you take the Maid of the Mists not ride. However if you go after 7:30-8pm you can just go up on your own to see the beautiful falls at night. Don’t miss out!
