We went in March so it is off season and colder, but we are from Minnesota so we bundled up. We went on a Friday and it was our family and one other couple. So worth doing this! Just know that... more »

I mean... it’s completely indescribable. We came planning to do Maid of the Mist (which was also totally exceptional), but had never heard of Cave of the Winds. We got it in an attraction package. Honestly, it made the trip. To get THAT up close and personal with the Falls... I mean there’s no way to describe what that’s like. If anyone goes to Niagara, I will instantly recommend Cave of the Winds.

Most amazing experience ever! Warning...you will get soaked even with the poncho on. It was so beautiful with rainbows and wildflowers everywhere. The power of the water rushing down next to you is indescribable! If you have to choose between this one and the one on the Canadian side do this one. The other one is nice too, but you don't get right under the Falls. Just depends on what picture is more important to you and how wet you want to get. Love that they give out the water shoes with your ticket and you can keep them!
