River Rose Cruises reviews
My wife, daughter and I talked about going the cruise and finally did. It was great. You had everything food, beverages and beautiful mountain scenery. We got on in Newburgh and went all the way down.... more »
It was beautiful weather and even though the colors had not really changed yet, it was still enjoyable for my visiting family and me. The one disappointment was that we turned and headed back before..... more »
DEFINITLEY AN EXPERIENCE. See it for yourself. Short but okay cruise. Brunch was okay. staff were nice (although I ended up helping the older gentleman changing the trash when trying to throw away my cup). Pricey drinks for a small amount of drink. I really enjoyed the vintage feel of the boat but it needs a good cleaning. Bathrooms in need of upgrade badly. Folding chairs and tables inside. Narration seemed dated and sound system not too great. You get a sense of feeling on the boat that costs are cut extremely short as if they were penny pinching. Minimal heat so definitely bundle up if going on a cold day (twice as windy on the Hudson then I land)
We had our Wedding reception on the River Rose! Best time of our life!!! Everyone asking us to do it again! Food was great! No one got sea sick! Would definitely do it again!
