We are located in Coloado's most original ghost mining town of St. Elmo, CO. We have a unique store nestled in the beautiful mountains at 10,019 feet. We have a blend of new and old – everything from souvenir St. Elmo t-shirts and hats to old full size wagons, collectibles and yes even the antique kitchen sink! Our vast inventory takes up the inside of our building and spills out into ‘The Yard’. Besides strolling through town there is much to do in the St. Elmo area such as hiking, ATVing, jeeping, fishing and camping! We also sell cold drinks, ice cream and snacks to get you through the day. We are open 7 days a week May through September and maybe into October if weather permits.

We are located among the 14,000 peaks in the San Isabel National Forest. Elevation at our location is 10,019 feet. Our business is in one of the town's original buildings from the 1880's that was a bank/saloon called the "Miners Exchange".

  • WOW! St Elmo is a hidden gem!! We wanted to explore St Elmo after hearing about the history from my family. Staying at Mt Princeton, it was about a 50 min drive due to construction, some bumpy roads along the way but worth it! The history is beautiful and each building at St Elmo has the story of the history. It was an old ghost town that is preserved to history. There is a general store at the entrance of the town that sells souvenirs, old school candy (candy cigarets anyone?). We ended up buying a steel mug showing St Elmo and some Bazooka bubble gum! Prices are definitely reasonable and meeting the man who mainly works at the store, he is extremely friendly and will feel you in on anything you want to know. The store has antiques you can buy, St Elmo swag (t-shirts, stickers, mugs) and if you need any pain relievers or travel items, they have a small section! Great store, love supporting places like these.
  • This ghost town is awesome, really neat. I was taking pictures of the buildings and got one particular building and my camera batteries died, so I walked down a little further and took a few more pics and got back to the same building and tried taking a picture again and my batteries died again. Just a little bit of info I found interesting. But since I left and didn't tried taking another picture of the building my camera is working just fine and not draining brand new batteries. Weird huh
