The Escape Game Nashville (Berry Hill) Reviews
Really fun experience. Did the Special Ops room with a party of seven. The decorations are really well-done and fit the theme well. Really felt like we were in a middle eastern bazaar market in the first room, then a nuclear bunker later. Good mix of puzzles that played on many people's strengths. There was one really creative puzzle in the market that involved your sense of smell, which I thought was a nice touch and a good way to involve all of your senses. Some people in my group felt more comfortable in the market part of the room since it was more about finding items and solving simple puzzles. They were mostly lost in the second part of the experience, as it was more about logic puzzles than finding things and solving simple puzzles. But again, it involved most people in our group well and everyone contributed something. Definitely need new markers for the nuclear bunker room though! They were hard to see. We ended up using all three clues, and I think they gave us a couple for free as well, to keep us moving. The game guide gave us just enough of a hint to keep us moving and not get frustrated though, and we solved it with about 20 seconds to spare. It is a pricey activity, especially for a large group, but it's a unique way to spend an hour that will help you work on communication and problem solving as a group.
So fun! It was well-kept, well-decorated, and had a positive energy about it. The games are enjoyable and the staff there are the nicest people you'll meet. The reason I only give it 4 stars is because of its location. It's in a somewhat sketchy part of Nashville, and it's right beside a cemetery and some beaten-down houses. Aside from that though, wonderful place!
