  • I play about 50 rounds a year. When I’m in OBX I try and go to my usual course but this August I tried out Nags Head. It’s nice. Nothing fancy. Very well kept. And it is a challenging course (shot...  more »
  • I golfed here while on vacation with 3 of my friends. The course was challenging due to its layout. The course was in great condition despite the hurricane that passed through the week prior. The.....  more »
  • The course is is pretty good shape. With that being said I believe that is is overpriced, given the course quality. The greens roll true and the fairways are in good shape for a golf course that gets so much play. The staff is not helpful, but I would imagine it's not easy to deal with tourists at that level. If you use the gold now app you can often get a round in at a reasonable price.
  • The golf course is beautifully laid out and well maintained. It challenges all skill levels and then there is the wind. I cannot however recommend their management of pace of play. We had an 11:26 tee time which made us the last group before the rates dropped at 11:30. Judging by the line of golfers we passed on the way to the pro shop, we knew it would be at least half an hour before our turn yet they would not give us the lower rate. For the record, we teed off at 11:55. We quickly caught the group ahead of us only to see four golfers running all over the course in three carts. Since when do allow four golfers in three carts? It should be never and never ever on such a busy day. It continued when we witnessed these jokers play from the blue tees. It was brutal! The final low water mark came when they posed for group pictures on the 18th green. If you are one of that group get a grip, learn golf etiquette and take some lessons.
