Amazing place. Easy 3/4 mile hike. Great areas in the river at the base for kids to play as said in other reviews... but BE CAREFUL!!! Saw 3 copperheads at the base of the falls around fallen logs and even entering the water!

Non-touristy beautiful waterfall, if you have a snake phobia then I would not recommend visiting here though. Nice walk, mostly flat and the waterfall is easy to reach the base of the falls. I am on crutches and had no issues getting up close to the falls.
