Bay View State Park is a public recreation area located on Padilla Bay in Skagit County, Washington, USA. The state park's 66 acres (27 ha) include 1,285 feet (392 m) of shoreline and facilities for camping, picnicking, fishing, swimming and beachcombing. It originated in 1925 when the Skagit County Agricultural Association donated land to the state to be used for park purposes. The park is crossed by a stretch of the Pacific Northwest Trail.

    Fine hike along an old dike as well as along shore - lots of bald eagles in season as well as a lot of other birds. Mostly flat trail with parking at both ends of the hike.  more »

    Nice place to visit ... You get to stay among the trees. You can have a campfire. You can see the bay.  more »

    Last minute booking. Got the last space in the tent section because of a dog show going on. It was kind of fun to see the beautiful Labradors there and meet interesting people. We wedged our camper into a tent site but it was very quiet and we had a lovely campfire. The ranger will bring campfire wood to your site, just flag him down. There is a path down to the beach and it's very lovely. They also have camping cabins most of which have which views of the water. Some of the campsites also have of views of the water as well.

    We stayed at campsite #5.. The site was perfect for our 25 ft trailer. All the hookups were in early access. The views of the bay and sunsets were awesome. Highly recommend this park.
