  • Clean area and lots ( and lots) of space. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the landscape. Bring the kids; lots of space to run and play and the playground areas are well equipped and laid out with different areas for different age groups. Pet-friendly, too. There is also a cafe on the pier walkway and it lines up nice to view the sunset.
  • A good place to walk and enjoy the view of Charleston and the majestic bridge. Some paints can be seen and there are events of dance for the community. From one of the corners of the park, you can reach the side walk on the bridge (approximately 2,3 miles walking to the highest point) to have a fabulous view of Charleston, Mount Pleasant and its historical fortifications.
