The Central Minnesota Vegetable Growers Association

The Central Minnesota Vegetable Growers Association is a member-based, nonprofit association with over 200 members. Our members directly market their fruits, vegetables and farmstead products at the Minneapolis Farmers Market to consumers.

The CMVGA manages, educates and assists in improving production methods and direct-marketing strategies for its members through related partnerships with the University of Minnesota, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and the Minnesota Grown Promotional Board.

The CMVGA members use a wide variety of sustainable growing practices spanning from greenhouse and hydroponics, to fields of fruits and vegetables along with improved practices for the production of farmstead goods.

The CMVGA is dedicated to the success of its farmers markets, the future of small farms and agriculture, and most importantly, providing quality to customers.

  • This is the most incredible farmer's market I've ever been to! The stalls go on and on and on with all the produce and fresh products you could want. We spent three hours wandering up and down the aisles and bought a variety of products--fresh produce, gorgeous fresh bouquets, hot sauce, lavender from France, home made soap, meat and cheeses. We also samples many different kinds of food from the vendors including Mexican style corn on the cob, gyros, egg rolls and rice, and breakfast burritos. We are not from Minnesota, but I would recommend this to locals and visitors!
  • I've only been to this market a few times about they have a huge selection! My favorite part is that they have a huge selection of flowers in so many varieties. Support your local farmer families and come here!
