  • Someone once told me that going to this Basilica is like going to Europe, without ever leaving Milwaukee. Now I know what they mean. It is absolutely gorgeous.I came in here and just wandered around. They have a nice little exhibit that talks about the history of the Basilica. However, apparently they have a tour Sunday after mass. I think it would be worth you doing a tour to hear more about the architecture and the history of this fantastic place.
  • A place to be inspired and awed. This place is gorgeous filled with beautiful paintings, stained glass, a dome with wonderful artwork and a magnificent atmosphere of peace. A place definitely worth visiting if you want to see lovely religious art and great architecture. And don't forget to buy a piece of chocolate to contribute with maintenance and restoration
