Lummus Park Beach, Miami Beach

4.6
#4 of 16 in Parks in Miami Beach
Park · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
Situated within the city's famed Art Deco district, Lummus Park Beach provides a tropical setting for bikers, walkers, runners, inline skaters, and more. You can spike a volleyball over the net and into the white sands or use the path adjacent to the beach. Enjoy the warm water and cool off under the umbrellas or on the lounge chairs available for rent. Be sure to stop by the Art Deco visitor center in the middle of the park. Convenient parking can be difficult to find, and there are no restrooms or showers available on the beach. You'll find restaurants located near the park. Plan a trip to Miami Beach easily and quickly by telling Inspirock to suggest an itinerary.

  • This park was great, lots of people just taking a stroll, rollerblading, skateboarding or working out. The park is right on South Beach which has beautiful water and sand.  more »

  • Very nice beach. Beautiful area. Enjoyed our 3 days here. My boyfriend enjoyed the water and I just like sitting on the beach. We both enjoyed the scenery. I had cards made out of our picture I took of the palm trees here. Can't wait to see how they turned out. Really enjoyed our visit here.
  • The Artisan Market is a real value add to Lummus Park. I love the different finds you can discover from the vendors and it's a win-win because you're supporting small entrepreneurs when you shop there. What they have, they don't sell on Ocean Drive or Collins Ave, so you can still pop over to those shops and look for more. It's a family-friendly bonus to the beach scene. I enjoyed it. Thank you to the City of Miami Beach for allowing this experience in the Park for the residents and the tourists. Keep up the good work!
