Luray Caverns Reviews
What a treasure! This is an underground world that is so fascinating. I feel that caves have gotten pushed aside as a place to take your kids but DON"T. Kids are so inquisitive and amazed that these k... more »
Um lugar muito bonito, um passeio agradável aonde podemos ver as formações de estalactites e piscinas espelhadas impressionantes. No local tem uma piscina azul transparente, aonde podemos jogar moedas... more »A very beautiful place, a pleasant stroll where we can see the formations of stalactites and impressive mirrored pools. On site there is a transparent blue swimming pool, where we can play coins and order. For those who believe, it's worth risking. I suggest you go to the opening of the tour that takes place at 9:00 in the morning, as from the 11:00 in the morning the place fills with visitors and the queues are enormous. The venue has a restaurant and a winery for wine connoisseur, but it is very common for people to take their own snack and drink.
Luray Caverns is an enjoyable, educational, and very popular tourist destination. Originally discovered in August 1878, it has been captivating and delighting visitors ever since. The cave itself is quite beautiful and majestic. The tour guide was truly outstanding and really brought the tour to life. She greatly enhanced the experience for all of us. Admission was a little pricey but also includes the Luray Caverns Car Museum and the Luray Valley Museum as well. Convenient and ample parking abounds. Employees are friendly and helpful at every turn. This cavern, the car museum, and the LVM are all very family-friendly. Kids and kids-at-heart will have a great time at the Luray Caverns.
Awesome family experience. Our tour guide Christina was Great! She gave my son a great responsibility along the tour.. It was amazing! Every child should visit and experience. And a hell of a workout! 5 Stars.
